About Me

I'm a freelance journalist based in Southern California.  I've written  and produced for print, online and broadcast media, including the Los Angeles Times, Arroyo Monthly magazine, PRI's Living On Earth, and KQED-FM.

For two decades, I covered the environment, particularly as a staff reporter for Southern California Public Radio (KPCC).

I've also worked as producer/senior producer for Book Club for Kids,  a middle-grade book podcast, and for KPCC's morning talk show, AirTalk.
